Large Brazilian Druzy Pink Amethyst Geode weighing 3864g and measuring 220:200:113mm. I love these beautiful sparkly pink amethysts, simply one of my favourite crystals for sale. This one is freestanding with a mixture of pinks, purple and whites. This one looks like a boot or woolly sock, the ankle parts being a spray of white Druzy crystal spray, the foot part is lovely pink geode with Druzy openings. Love this piece.

Pink Amethyst is a newly discovered form of Quartz from Brazil and Patagonia, Argentina. The colour range is pale lilac/pink to a deeper toned peachy/pink however it is different in tone and clarity from that of Rose Quartz.

The colour is the result of inclusions of Hematite and spectroscopic analysis indicates that this form of Quartz is closer in its absorption to Amethyst than to either Rose Quartz or Pink Quartz and can thus be described as Pink Amethyst.
